|A quick note about RAID - Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives|
RAID 0 - Two or more drives interleaved for faster performance. NOT fault tolerant.
RAID 1 - Mirrored drives. One drive can fail and the array still works.
RAID 5 - Three or more interleaved drives with faster performance and parity. Can still operate with one drive failure.
RAID 6 - Four or more interleaved drives with faster performance and dual parity. Can still operate with two drive failures.
